About Natalie (she/her)
I am a counseling psychologist-in-training in the University of Kentucky Counseling Psychology PhD Program and yoga teacher with expertise in holistic wellness and sexual/reproductive health. Combining my lived experience as a Black queer woman and education allow me to integrate holistic healing and wellness interventions into my research, clinic work, and classes in a deeply meaningful way.
My yoga practice began in 2017 when my therapist introduced me to mindfulness and vinyasa. Since 2017, I have maintained my practice and received yoga certification from The Om Place in 2021. Currently, I teach at Sterling Hot Yoga located in Lexington, Kentucky, and provide independent services detailed on this site.
Natalie is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
